• How to Play Blackjack Online

It's hardly a secret that more people are now playing Blackjack online than in real casinos, as it is more convenient. If you're still holding back thinking that it will be difficult, well, it isn't. Even with the different types of software out there, the interface all have common features.

Once you install the software and register, you are now ready to play Blackjack online. After you start the application you will be asked what type of game you want to play: you either play alone against the dealer or compete against the dealer and other players (the number of people that can participate varies from 3 to 6).

In some Blackjack online games, you can decide who to play against; create your own group, and invite your friends to play with you, or you can join a public game instead and play with anyone.

The rules in playing Blackjack online are practically the same as that in regular casinos. However, some sites offer subtle but crucial differences; these can include a limit to the number of hands you can draw, different options on the split, double down etc.

The game begins when you place your bets. This is done by dragging or double clicking the bet (i.e., $5, $10 etc) to the appropriate spot. Once all the players have made their wagers, you need to press "enter" or click on the "proceed" button.

The next screen will include the different buttons that are available based on the actions you made in the previous round. There will be the split, double down, insurance options etc. If that button is grayed out, then that means the option cannot be used for this particular hand.

If you win, the Blackjack online software will inform you. You can either paly another round or quit the game and proceed to the cash out option. There you just follow the instructions for getting the money you won.

All Blackjack software today are highly customizable; you can adjust the graphics, and some allow for the use of avatars (images you can use to represent yourself online). Most, if not all, have sounds effect and animation too. While these may not be necessary for playing the game itself, they do add to the atmosphere and if you are going to play for a long time, the visuals will play a part.

That's all there is to playing Blackjack online; whatever your level of gaming experience is, it will only take a few sessions to adjust and be comfortable with the interface. After that, you can focus on playing for real money.
